“Blockchain is not a one-size-fits-all solution. We must find a customized solution that truly matches commercial needs.”
—Anndy Lian, CEO of LINFINITY
On January 9th-11th 2019, a three-day global blockchain seminar, jointly supported by Ministry of Education — Singapore Retailers Studies, Nanyang Polytechnic, SkillsFuture and organized by Walletton Holdings; was held in Seoul, South Korea, bringing together industry leaders from the political, business and academic communities. Attendees including former Seoul Mayor Kim Hyeong-joo; Jun-Sik Sim of the Deloitte Crypto Research Center; Gachon University professor Dr. Dohyun Park; LINFINITY CEO Anndy Lian and Upbit CEO Sir-goo Lee were invited to deliver key speeches.
In his speech, Mr. Lian remarked: “Blockchain technology can solve many problems, but it does not mean that it can solve all problems. Blockchain is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Blockchain projects must find customized solutions that will truly match their needs.” LINFINITY’s commercialization process is steadily carried out based on this foundation.”
In LINFINITY’s business ideology, there is no such thing as a ‘package’ blockchain solution, LINFINITY adopts a customized model when building enterprise usage scenarios. LINFINITY’s most recent example of this process at work is the completion of information on-chaining services for Singapore’s healthcare brand Scientific Tradition and Japanese haircare brand Herbriller. “The focus and needs of these two brands are very different. This is not just coding the product information to a ‘block’.” Anndy added. Finding the specific application scenario that meets the requirements of the enterprises blockchain aims to integrate with is the most important thing to its commercialization process, both now and in the future.
Blockchain development in Singapore and South Korea have already taken the world by storm. South Korea is the pioneer in both cryptocurrency usage, trading and implementation. Many projects will go Korea to learn about Blockchain. The success for Korea in blockchain gained traction fast thanks to the support of the government. LINFINITY also accelerated its development in South Korea with the recent announcement of local business cooperation and its listing on Coinfinit.
“We are happy to see that more governmental and commercial forces are engaged in this industry. 2019 is likely to be an important year where blockchain ‘commercialization’ begins to gain traction in all these areas, rather than discussing the price of individual tokens. As the scale of blockchain commercialization increases, exploration deepens, it will gradually gain recognition and show its true power of being the next technology innovation. That is what LINFINITY team is doing; to bring the true value of blockchain technology to the general public.”

LINFINITY recently formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Japanese hair care company Herbriller. In order to let more consumers know about Herbriller, the LINFINITY team, together with Herbriller, held a series of product demonstrations in Shenzhen, China, at the high-end hair salon -Hair.
The Herbriller series uniquely uses natural plants, such as henna, which has been proven to be effective in helping manage and mitigate the problems associated with white hair, damage from hair dye, and aging of the scalp. Henna is a staple of Japanese hair care culture, being highly appreciated by hair care professionals and institutions alike. LINFINITY reached out to Herbriller as a collaborative partner, to suggest the running of product demonstrations in Shenzhen, inviting the locals to personally experience their hair care products. This has provided a full perspective for Chinese consumers on the Herbriller series, giving them a clear understanding of both Herbriller’s professional attitude to hair care and improved their brand image. LINFINITY’s approach to promoting brand recognition by blockchain commercialisation is also a major characteristic and important aspect of LINFINITY’s ecosystem.
Even LINFINITY CEO Anndy Lian got in on the act. “In fact, Herbriller made me know more about the hair care industry!” he remarked, after the experience. “Traditional chemicals emphasize ‘immediately effective, and significant effects’, which are short-term in nature and end up causing great damage to hair. Herbriller’s selection of natural herbs as part of their materials-gathering process is focused more on the long-term benefits, and is entirely nourishment oriented. This is Herbriller’s refreshing approach to product management – and, in the end, it was also an important factor in our final decision to cooperate with Herbriller. We hope to use our blockchain technology and market capabilities to let more consumers experience Herbriller’s natural authenticity.”
Currently, LINFINITY has completed the information on-chaining work for Herbriller. Through information on-chaining, Herbriller can collect accurate market information through the blockchain technology of LINFINITY, which help to provide important value to Herbriller’s brand-building process, improving supply chain efficiency, and formulating and refining their personal marketing strategies.
Through LIFNINITY’s blockchain service, after this information is packaged and uploaded, the three functions of anti-counterfeiting, traceability and consumer information collection can be achieved. Once this information is present within the chain, LINFINITY generates a unique corresponding QR code for the corresponding product – at the user end, a consumer only needs to scan the QR code through LINFINITY DApp. This will allow them to then query the on-chain information of the purchased goods, including authenticating its authenticity, review the flow of the supply chain, and so on. At the same time, LINFINITY plans to incorporate LINFINITY Mark into the system, to establish a clear brand understanding for consumers, and lay a solid foundation for building brand image.
Next, Herbriller will further optimise and upgrade product development for C-end customers. For Herbriller, the accurate security of blockchain information transmission ensures that they can accurately and effectively collect consumer information to supplement and improve the flow of the supply chain. After the end consumer scans the QR code through LINFINITY DApp, the information is fed back to LINFINTIY’s blockchain in both directions – on the company side, Herbriller will be able to obtain relevant consumer purchase information, which can supplement the sales scope of products through LINFINITY. Through this accurate, secure, and tamper-proof market information, Herbriller can effectively adjust its supply chain management and marketing strategies depending on its consumer data, whilst maintaining transparency and complete cryptographic security. All this simply would not and could not be collected or processed by traditional supply chain systems.
